Tuesday, February 28, 2006

This Tribute website was created by Ronald Brosius on 3/10/2006 to honor our loved one.

Elizabeth was an angel even before her passing and is now so even more. She would want to say first that she loved everyone of you and will be waiting with open arms when we meet again. Here is my sweetheart:

Elizabeth was born in Gardena California. She moved at a very young age to the islands and was raised in Wahiawa, Hawaii and attended Iliahi Elementary and Leileihua High School. She loved gymnastics, art, ROTC, drill team, hiking, playing the flute and guitar, cooking, and most of all, helping others.

"Liz", or "Zil", served in the U.S. Army at Fort Bragg from 1996 to 2000 as a computer and software repair technician. After leaving the army, Liz worked at the Pentagon, through the 9/11 tradgedy, but soon after had to leave to follow me to Germany on military orders. Liz and I were married on April 10th, 12th, and June 8th of 2002. The families were in different places and so were our weddings. In May of 2003, we returned to Hawaii to be stationed at Shofield Barracks. Her two favorite songs were "The Rainbow Connection", and "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." When you see a rainbow, that's just my Lizzy's way of saying, "aloha" and "I Love You." Till we're together again sweetheart, I'll pray for you each day.

Love, your husband,

Ronnie

Update: March 08, 2007...  Liz never knew how important she was or how many lives she touched. The thousands of people who viewed this website, I am sure, are just a glimpse of how many lives she spread her wonderous spirit and joy with.

Liz, I love you more each day and there aren't five minutes that pass when you are not on my mind. I have come to realize the way we felt about each other was unique in today's world. Someone recently said to me, "Wow, you must have really loved each other." My first thought was, is there any other way to love someone?

Loving you,... me
